“Beautiful Day”

“Beautiful Day” is a
representation of Jason’s life long dream:To write and
perform his own musical compositions. Six of
the ten tracks are Jason’s
original material, from the laid back bossa nova “Gentle
Breeze”, to the medium up
swing “Exodus”.

The title track “Beautiful Day”, is a
Brazilian based composition
inﬂuenced by enjoying the life
the we are all given. “Love
Lost” is a ballad that deals
with missed opportunities,
while “Rebellion” was
inspired by a long meeting
with some inﬂuential people.
“The Plunge” is about taking
a chance and the “Free Jazz
Session” is about breaking
barriers and being free from
restrictions.
There are exciting and fresh
arrangements of Duke
Ellington’s “In A Sentimental
Mood” , “Pavane” and “Age of
Aquarius”.

Members of the ensemble
include Jason on saxophones
and ﬂute, Daniel Padron on
Piano, L.A. Tuten on bass and
Reece Harris on drums.
